Advancing Wellness with Exosome Therapy Services in Madison, CT

At LIVation, we believe that regenerative medicine is the future. By supporting our own bodies’ abilities to repair themselves, we can transform what it looks like to treat a broad range of health and wellness issues. And right now, one of the most popular topics in regenerative medicine is exosomes.

Exosomes were long considered “cellular junk” by scientists until recently, when it was discovered that harnessing the powers of exosomes could be the secret to triggering cellular regeneration throughout the body—and at LIVation, we offer this scientific advancement to support the health and wellness of your skin by treating clients with radiofrequency microneedling with exosomes.

The Science Behind Exosome Therapy

You may be asking yourself, “What are exosomes?” While they’re being likened to platelet-rich plasma, they’re quite different—in fact, they’re far more powerful. Exosomes are tiny vesicles full of important information, kind of like an email, that cells send to other cells. Inside each exosome “email” is a high concentration of lipids, proteins, mRNA, growth factors, and much more. Those exosomes tell cells to spring into action, which is where those regenerative properties come in.

The Benefits of Exosome Microneedling Treatments

To max out the benefits of exosomes, you’ll want them to penetrate the skin as deeply as possible. The best way to do this is to create controlled micro-injuries to the skin with a professional procedure like microneedling, which creates tiny channels in the skin through which the exosomes can absorb. At LIVation in Madison, CT, we offer radiofrequency microneedling using the Lumenis triLift. Radiofrequency energy enhances the benefits of microneedling treatment to get even more out of your exosome therapy.

Promotes Collagen Production

Microneedling is also known as collagen induction therapy—on its own, it’s highly effective at stimulating the formation of new collagen to help smooth fine lines and wrinkles, improve the appearance of acne scars, and make skin firmer. The addition of radiofrequency energy only enhances those results. But when paired with exosome therapy, the results are even more potent. Exosomes are clinically proven to activate fibroblasts, the cells that produce collagen, as well as trigger your body’s formation of new blood vessels. Radiofrequency microneedling exosome treatments accelerate those results, leading to tauter, smoother, and more supple skin.

Supports Skin Healing

Yes, you’re intentionally damaging skin to make it heal better when you get microneedling treatments. When microneedling is performed without exosomes, skin may feel tight and look flushed for a day or two as it begins to recover. However, most people experience far less or even no downtime when they pair microneedling with exosomes. Exosome therapy is known for its ability to promote wound healing and reduce inflammation. The exosomes work to control and reduce your body’s inflammatory response while helping to prevent scarring—it keeps your fibroblasts from going into overdrive, supporting the collagen production your skin needs while reducing its ability to scar, promoting more even and healthy-looking skin.

Helps Inhibit Skin Aging and Hyperpigmentation

You already know that exosome microneedling promotes collagen production, which is a major factor to keeping skin looking youthful and fresh. But studies show that exosomes can go one step further to support younger-looking skin by working to slow the natural aging process of your cells, combat sun damage, and reduce your skin’s ability to form dark spots like hyperpigmentation and melasma.

Microneedling With Exosomes at LIVation

High-Quality Exosomes Manufactured by AnteAGE

The majority of exosomes used in exosome therapy are derived from humans. (This makes sense—while plant exosomes exist, they don’t use the same “key” as human exosomes, so they cannot “unlock” the same actions within the human body.) They are then lab-purified, standardized, and manufactured for use. There are many different brands offering exosomes; at LIVation, we use AnteAGE exosomes. AnteAGE only uses the highest-quality and most potent exosomes, which they source from stem cells in bone marrow and Wharton’s Jelly, a substance found inside the umbilical cord. We work with AnteAGE because they source, develop, and produce its exosomes products exclusively in the United States. The bone marrow exosomes come from healthy, athletic American women aged 18 to 24, while the Wharton’s Jelly stem cell exosomes come from umbilical cords from live births. They’re all processed and created in AnteAGE’s ISO-certified lab.

What to Expect During Exosome

Therapy at our Madison, CT Location

Your exosome microneedling appointment will begin with a consultation.

Before we treat any of our clients with a new treatment, we determine if they’re a candidate. While AnteAGE exosomes is a treatment that is considered safe for all individuals, radiofrequency microneedling isn’t for everyone. We’ll go over your concerns, goals, and medical history to make sure you have reasonable expectations for the procedure as well as find out if you’re contraindicated for radiofrequency microneedling. You’re a good fit for being treated with radiofrequency microneedling and exosomes at LIVation if you have mild to moderate signs of aging and are bothered by the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, enlarged pores, sun damage, and sagging skin; want to address acne scarring; or have dull, tired-looking skin.

While many people are excellent candidates for exosome therapy with microneedling, not everyone qualifies for treatment. You cannot be treated with radiofrequency microneedling if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a history of poor wound healing (including keloid scarring), are undergoing chemotherapy or radiation, are taking blood thinners, have a blood clotting disorder, or have an active cold sore.

We’ll numb your skin to prepare you for microneedling treatment.

If our providers confirm that you’re a good candidate for exosome therapy with radiofrequency microneedling, we’ll apply a topical numbing formula to the treatment area. You’ll then wait about 15 to 30 minutes for the numbing effect to take hold, which will make the treatment more comfortable.

Your radiofrequency microneedling session will begin.

Your provider will treat the desired area, promoting collagen production to help firm, smooth, tighten, and rejuvenate skin.

Your provider will finish your appointment with exosome treatment.

After your radiofrequency microneedling session is complete, your provider will apply the AnteAGE exosomes to help enhance your results and support your skin’s regenerative properties. They’ll feel very cooling and soothing on the skin and can provide instant relief to sensitivity that may have been caused by the microneedling.
